Lana Richards

I am a lifelong Southeast Texas resident and love serving our local community. I am a Lamar University Alumni receiving my Bachelors in Business Marketing in 2009. I have always known I wanted to own my own business locally and in 2020, I proudly opened the doors to the Lana Richards State Farm Agency in Beaumont.

In my spare time, you can find me spending time with my family. I have five amazing boys in our blended family - Caleb, Mason, Blake, Jonah and Wyatt with my husband, Jonithan. I'm not the only girl in our family though - we have two female dogs named Ruby and Bailey, a cat named Lulu, and a female snake named Loretta! I enjoy sitting by a fire, reading a good book, our church, volunteering with the Junior League of Beaumont, eating my way through our awesome local restaurants, attending community events and enjoying our local Little League and High School sporting events.

Our purpose is to serve the surrounding communities and towns around the Southeast Texas/ Southwest Louisiana area; Beaumont, Vidor, Mauriceville, Buna, Orange, Bridge City, Port Arthur, Groves, Port Neches, Nederland, Lumberton, Silsbee, Kountze, Sour Lake, Winnie, Vinton, Sulphur, Lake Charles and throughout our great states of Texas and Louisiana.

What's Going on Around Beaumont and the Lana Richards State Farm Agency this October?

October 2-5: The Winnie Texas Rice Festival Begins! Located at the Winnie-Stowell Park. Go out and enjoy the fantastic food vendors, entertainment and activities that are available for the entire family.

October 5: Join us at the Fire Museum of Texas on Saturday October 5 for the Fire Festival. This is a FREE family event!

October 5: The Annual Beaumont Oktoberfest returns to Rogers Park! Go out and enjoy the free family event! The music lineup features The Suffers &The Golden Triangle Brass Quintet.

October 7: Please join us in wishing our team member, Sandra Alvarez a very Happy Birthday!

October 7-31: The Wesley Pumpkin Patch begins! Go out and support the Wesley Church Fundraiser and purchase your pumpkins along with taking some cute pictures.

October 12: Beaumont is hosting their annual Dogtober Fest on the lawn at the Julie Rogers Theatre from 8:30 a.m. -2:00 pm. It is a free admission event to bring the full family and furry friends! So go out and enjoy the great food, music, and furry fun!

October 12: The 12th Annual Touch-A-Truck & S.T.E.A.M fair will be held at Beaumont Children’s Museum and Civic Center! Bring the whole family out for a day to enjoy a unique opportunity to explore vehicles of all types!

October 12: Join us at the annual Beaumont Butterfly Release sponsored by Harbor Hospice at Doggett Ford Park. This is a family day with free admission, food, crafts and many kid-focused activities from 11am - 2pm. - Make sure to be there for the butterfly release at 1:45!

October 17-19: The Magnolia Cemetery will be holding a historic cemetery tour! One this free tour you will learn Beaumont’s rich history and be shown the beauty of the monuments, statues, artwork, and grounds.

October 26: Get ready for the annual Beaumont Heritage Society Pumpkin Walk and Haunted Tour taking place on the grounds of the historic John jay French Museum from 6-9 PM!

October 28-31: Come by the office this week to enjoy our ‘Countdown to Halloween.’ We will have candy for all the kiddos and fun events all week! Be sure and Vote on our Facebook and Instagram pages for our annual pumpkin decorating this week as well!
