Lana Richards

I am a lifelong Southeast Texas resident and love serving our local community. I am a Lamar University Alumni receiving my Bachelors in Business Marketing in 2009. I have always known I wanted to own my own business locally and in 2020, I proudly opened the doors to the Lana Richards State Farm Agency in Beaumont.

In my spare time, you can find me spending time with my family. I have five amazing boys in our blended family - Caleb, Mason, Blake, Jonah and Wyatt with my husband, Jonithan. I'm not the only girl in our family though - we have two female dogs named Ruby and Bailey, a cat named Lulu, and a female snake named Loretta! I enjoy sitting by a fire, reading a good book, our church, volunteering with the Junior League of Beaumont, eating my way through our awesome local restaurants, attending community events and enjoying our local Little League and High School sporting events.

Our purpose is to serve the surrounding communities and towns around the Southeast Texas/ Southwest Louisiana area; Beaumont, Vidor, Mauriceville, Buna, Orange, Bridge City, Port Arthur, Groves, Port Neches, Nederland, Lumberton, Silsbee, Kountze, Sour Lake, Winnie, Vinton, Sulphur, Lake Charles and throughout our great states of Texas and Louisiana.

What's Going on Around Beaumont and the Lana Richards State Farm Agency this August?

August 6: National Sisters Day! The first Sunday of in August celebrates the unique bond between sisters. This set of siblings embrace moments that make them laugh and cringe. While they don’t always agree, sisters have each other’s back.

August 4: National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! Whether your cookies are homemade, or store bought, this day gives us an opportunity to dunk into deliciousness!

August 8: National Whataburger day! This national day celebrates Whataburger’s food, fans, and employees, otherwise known as Family Members, who are the heart and soul of the brand. For seven decades, Whataburger has been serving up a bold flavors, extraordinary hospitality, meaningful community, charitable efforts, and passionate fan recognition.

August 8: Special shoutout to Jonithan Richards We would like to wish him a happy birthday! Thank you for all you do around our office!

August 9: Happy Birthday to our Receptionist, Linda Elizabeth! Come by and celebrate Linda Elizabeth’s birthday with us!

August 12: International Youth Day - On this day, we celebrate youth across the globe to honor the promising future in today’s society. In addition, the day also brings worldwide awareness to issues youth dace in their lives on a daily basis.

August 26: National Get Checked Day! This day creates a call to action, providing a friendly reminder and asking a simple question, “got checked” Routine breast cancer screenings do save lives. But it is also important to begin breast/chest health much earlier in life.
